JEFFREY JOHN SMITH, 59 ROCKFORD - Jeffrey John Smith, 59, of Rockford died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born April 6, 1952, in Rockford, son of Robert J. and Erleene (Rice) Smith. He worked at Growth Enterprises for many years and was a member of St. Anskar's Episcopal Church. He is survived by mother, Erleene of Rockford; brothers, Jerold (Lou Ann) Smith of Bristol, Ind., and Randall R. Smith of Loves Park; niece and nephew, Heather (Steve) Cash and Brandon Smith; two great-nephews and one great- niece. Predeceased by father. Graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorial Mass at noon Wednesday at St. Anskar's Episcopal Church, 4801 Spring Creek Road, with the Rev. Andrea L.
