MARC H. GEISSLER, 42 BROOKFIELD - Marc H. Geissler, 42, of Brookfield died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008. Born Sept. 25, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Burkhard and Judith (Lundeen) Geissler. Married Laura J. Woodard on July 25, 1998, in Second Congregational Church. Raised in Rockford, he graduated from Guilford High School and the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in accounting. As a CPA, he practiced with Arthur Andersen in the tax department. At the time of his death, he was president of Citizens Accounting and Tax Service in Chicago. Survived by his wife, Laura of Brookfield; daughters, Kyra and Mia; stepsons, Aaron Woodard and CJ Robertson; brother, Karl (Dorie) of Champaign; brothers-in-law, Dale (Lynne) and David (Jenni) Woodard; his parents, Burkhard and Judith of Belvidere; mother-in-law, Shirley Woodard; grandfather, Rudi Geissler of Barrington; and numerous other relatives. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother; and brother, Eric Geissler. A private family service was held Friday, Dec. 26.
