LUCILLE M. ODE, 80 ROCKFORD - Lucille M. Ode, 80, of Rockford died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Swedish-American Hospital. Born March 10, 1929, in Rockford, the daughter of Adolph Martin and Dora (Nyquist) Ode. Lucille was employed in the payroll department of National Lock for 34 years, before working for the Regional Office of Education for Dr. Richard Fairgraves. She was a member of First Evangelical Free Church. Lucille also was a member of the Rockford Sweepers and EOPNI. Survived by sister, Doris (Lester) Sites of Sunnyvale, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Jon (Susan) Sites, Suzanne Sites, Lynette Biethan and Pamela (Ralph) Gonzales; and special friend, Analyn Motter. Predeceased by her parents. Service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, in First Evangelical Free Church, 2223 N. Mulford, with visitation from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m; Pastor Chuck Rife will officiate.
