AUGUST E. REININGER, 89 BELVIDERE - August E. Reininger, 89, of Belvidere passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in Alden Alma Nelson-Debes Nursing Home, Rockford. Born Nov. 13, 1918, in Chicago, the son of Jacob and Eva Reininger. Attended Hononegah High School. Married Pauline M. Taylor on April 20, 1963, in Zion Lutheran Church, Belvidere. A Belvidere resident for 60 years. He worked as a foreman for Rockford Products for 43 years until retirement in 1983. A member of Zion Lutheran Church. A life member of Belvidere Moose Lodge 295. August was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling the country in his car. Survivors include his wife, Pauline M. Reininger of Belvid-ere; sons, Terry (Ginger) Reininger of Belvidere and Gary Reininger of Rockford; daughter, Carol Casey of Rockford; stepchildren, Paula Kamman of Columbus, Ind., Kathy Hatfield of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Gary Crupper of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Travis and Shannon Hatfield, Kyle and Ashley Kamman, Jennifer Billesbach, Jordan Crupper, Nick Reininger, Jim and Linda Casey and Brian and Jeff Reininger. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, May; daughter in infancy; grandchildren, Nicole Reininger and Tom Casey; brothers, Kenneth, Lester and LeRoy; and sister, Delores Swanson. Funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Belvidere Funeral Home, with the Rev. Karl Otto, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation from noon to service time at the funeral home. Interment in Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name
