Obituary

Marcella M. Albright, 70, of Rockford passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, April 8, 2023. Born May 25, 1952, in Rockford, the daughter of Harold D. and Dorothy F. (Templeton) Roach. Marcella married Neil Albright on October 16, 1976. She worked many years for Little Lambs Daycare where she was a teacher’s aide. Marcella enjoyed traveling, playing cards, talking to friends and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

Survived by her husband, Neil; children, Michael (Ashley) Albright and Laura Fultz; and grandchildren, Logan, Natalie, Julia, and Ella. Predeceased by her parents; sister, Carol Wheelock; and brother, Gerald Roach.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Fred C. Olson Chapel. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
