Karen Strong Obituary
Karen A. Strong, 56, of Trenton, OH passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born in Rockford, IL on July 23, 1968, daughter of Robert and Mildred (Eckburg) Strong. Karen graduated in 1986 from Thomas Jefferson High School and completed her Piano Performance Degree from Taylor University in 1990. Karen won numerous awards and recognitions throughout her 27 years at Liberty Mutual and earned her CPCU certification in 2007. She was dedicated to her Lord Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully in many music and crochet ministries. Karen loved to teach piano to people from elementary school through retirement. Karen cared deeply for her dogs and cats. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt; a loyal friend to many, and a dedicated employee.

She is survived by her loving mother, Millie; sister, Kathi (Pat) Ley; two nieces, Jennica and Hannah Ley; two nephews, Michael and Samuel Ley; extended family members and her dear friend, Susan Gill. She is predeceased by her father, Robert Strong.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the time of her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial will take place at Scandinavian Cemetery in Rockford, IL on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Grace Funeral Home & Cremation Services serving the family
