REV. JOSHUA YANG, 56 ROCKFORD - Rev. Joshua Yang, 56, of Rockford went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Born in Taiwan on May 4, 1959, the son of Elder Chia Shan Yang and Yuen Chen Tsui. Married the former Esther Go on October 10, 1987. Josh was a beloved pastor and marriage and family counselor with Rockford First Church. Josh was a cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend to all. He lived out the church's motto of loving God, loving people and loving life. He is survived by his parents; wife, Esther Yang; children, Matthew, Melissa, Jonathan and Emily; brother, Sam (Connie) Yang; sisters, Sara (Alfred) HuYoung and Ruth (Jim) LeMaster and their families. Funeral service will be at 12 p.m. with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Rockford First, 5950 Spring Creek Road, Rockford.
