Obituary

Sara “Sally” M. Falth, 74, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. Born May 7, 1945, in Rockford, the daughter of Henry G. and Lorraine (Stenstrom) Anderson. Married to Robert Allen Hans Falth in Rockford on June 21, 1969. He predeceased her on September 7, 1997. She was a teacher in the Rockford Schools for 30 years. Sally was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Also, a member of Golden Agers and Y-Women’s Group. She loved taking trips with these groups. Sally enjoyed traveling, especially being “Up North,” playing games, and reading to her grandchildren and anyone else who would listen.
Survived by her children, Kristen (Scott) Kolakowski of Elgin, IL and Andrew (Natasha Diaz) Falth of River Forest, IL; grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Nathan, Hans, Francisco, and Wyatt; brother, Karl Anderson; brother-in-law, Dennis (Patty) Falth; nieces, Ariel Falth and Christina Anderson; and nephew, Joshua Falth. Also predeceased by her parents; and sister-in-law, Judith Anderson. A special thanks to the Calvert Family.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford with Reverend Chuck Olson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
