Diane S. Milos 1940—2017
Diane S. Milos, 77, died of natural causes on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. She was born and raised in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Eleanore Alexander. Diane married her love and soulmate of 57 years, James Milos. She was employed by the Rockford Board of Education for 27 years. Diane is survived by her husband, James; their children, Lenore Brown, Dr. Jamie Milos-Lung, Dr. Glenn Milos; and nine grandchildren. Diane liked to spend time with her family most of all. She enjoyed playing bridge with her club friends, was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and loved to garden. Diane enjoyed dancing at the Top of the Town Dance Club and cherished baking with her grandchildren.
A Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford, IL, 61107. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, 61108, and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of Mass at the church.
