Obituary

Patricia A. Jamison, 89, of Rockford, passed away after a battle with dementia on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in her daughters home surrounded by her family. She was born January 18, 1932, in Rockford, the daughter of Kendall and Marion (Dolan) Parker. Pat married John (Jack) H. Jamison Jr. on August 16, 1952, in Rockford. She retired from Kmart after 25 years of service. Pat will be mostly remembered for her loving and feisty personality.
Patricia is survived by her children, Cindy (Victor) Hutcheson, Michael (Cindy Zitt) Jamison, Steve (Lynn) Jamison, Jeff (Julie) Jamison, Deb (Chuck) Rogers and Brad Jamison; grandchildren, Mike Jr., Michelle, Melissa, Grant, Lindsay, Ryan, Lance, Joshua, Meghan, and Paige; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane McCoy and Bernie (Mickey) Oldham; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, brother Bobby, nephew Matthew, and sister and sidekick, Nancy Donnelli.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10:30 AM, at Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61103. A visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, Rockford, IL 61103, and again from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the church. Burial at Scandinavian Cemetery.
