Obituary

Carmen K. Moore, 81, of Rockford, passed away February 4, 2023. Born October 28, 1941, daughter of William and Viola (Anderson) Holderness. Carmen was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed talking with people, outdoor activities, gardening, biking, canoeing and kayaking, camping, and word puzzle books. Carmen was a loving mother and wife.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, David; children, Heather Agunod, David II, Michael, and James Moore; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Richard Moore, and brother, William C. Holderness Jr.

Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2023, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
