SHIRLEY'S OBITUARY
ROCKFORD – Shirley Mae Byczynski, age 94, of Rockford passed away peacefully Thursday December 2, 2021. Born in Nelson County, Virginia on March 6, 1927 to Rufus & Bettsanne Campbell (Fitzgerald). A proud member of Salem Lutheran Church, Shirley served on the Sunshine Committee for over 20 years. Beloved mother, grandmother and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by sons, Frank (Henrietta) Byczynski and Tom (Judy) Pequignot; step-daughter, Sandy (Don); grandchildren, Jennie (Bart), Lisa (Luke), Amy (Joe), Missy (Jake), Charlie, Michelle, Michael (Julie) and Matt; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces & nephews and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Byczynski; step-son, Michael (Prudy) Byczynski; brother, Hiram (Ruby) Campbell; and sister, Bunchie (Sam) Peters.

Funeral Services held Thursday December 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Salem Lutheran Church, 1629 South Sixth Street, Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 am. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
