Obituary

Gertrude Bahr, 78, of Rockford, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, in Alden Park Strathmoor. Born April 13, 1931, in Leachville, Ark. She married Oren Bahr in Rockford. He predeceased her in 1969. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Kenneth) Barker of Rockford and Shirley (Jeff) Lingback of Missouri; son, Glenn (Barbara) Bahr of Ohio; grandchildren, Marty, Allan, Kelly, Craig, Cindy, and Regina; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Kayla, Austin, and Adriana; and sisters, Kim Hawker and Lovely. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
