Obituary

Michael D. Sides, 57, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was born in Rockford on August 5, 1965 to William and Bernice Sides. He graduated from Jefferson High School and also a CNC program at Rock Valley College. He was a CNC operator at Ingersoll and also was in car sales at Anderson. Mike enjoyed cars, fishing and golfing at Sandy Hollow Golf Course.

He is survived by his father, William; nephew, Ryan Moberg; great-nephews, Luke and Brock Moberg; great-niece, Leanna Moberg; and his dog, Frank. Predeceased by his mother, Bernice; and sister, Cynthia Sides Moberg.

Funeral service will be at 2:00pm with a visitation from 1:00pm until the service on Monday, May 1, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford.
