Obituary

Bernice Julia Sides, 85, of Rockford passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 after a long illness. She was the daughter of John and Julia Szrajba, born on May 13, 1933 in Rockford. She attended Catholic Schools graduating from Muldoon in 1951. She worked for the Board of Education as an assistant librarian. She was married in 1953 to William D. Sides in St. Stanislaus Church in Rockford. She is survived by two children Cynthia (John) Moberg, deceased in 2008, one son Michael D. Sides, one grandson Ryan (Natalie) Moberg and three great grandchildren Ceanna, Luke and Brock Moberg.

Bless my brothers and sisters John, Edward and Florence who have passed and Stella who is living and their children of the Schraiber, Walton and Bland Families. Until we meet again, Bernice J. Sides.

Funeral mass will be at 11AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 in St. Stanislaus Church with Fr. Jocob Czajka officiating. Interment to follow in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 on Friday morning in the church with a rosary at 10:45AM. Arrangements are with Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 707 Marchesano Dr. Rockford, IL.
