Obituary

Jessica Rene Nolan, 31, of Rockford died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. Born July 23, 1980, in Rockford, the daughter of Jolene Zellers. Jessica loved the color purple and doing Sudoku puzzles. She is survived by her mother, Jolene Zellers and step-father, Terrence Zellers of Calif.; sister, Amber Upchurch of Roscoe; brother, Jonathan Upchurch of Roscoe; maternal grandparents, Bert and Marita Fennel of Rockford; Paternal grandmother, Freida Nolan; her soul mate, Darrell Payne; very special aunt, Janet Roman of Rockford; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her loving pet and best friend, Parker. Predeceased by her grandfather, Maurice Nolan. A special thank you to Dr. Sankaran and Heartland Hospice. Memorial mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Avenue Rockford, IL 61103. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 prior to the service in the church. Memorial to be established in Jessica"s name.
