Obituary

MACHESNEY PARK – Jeffrey John Joesten, age 52, of Machesney Park passed away Thursday February 8, 2018. Born in Rockford on March 1, 1965 to Frederick John & Jackie M. Joesten (Moen). Jeff loved bartering, trading & making deals; and most of all cruising on his beloved Harley Davidson. Beloved father, son, grandfather and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his daughter, Destynee (Billy Opsahl) Joesten; mother, Jackie Moen; step-son, Jeff (Leeanna Magin) Wibbens; grandchildren, Honor, Jeffery and Annabell; step-brother, Phillip Noegel; special aunt, Judy Carter; many dear cousins and friends; and beloved dog, TJ. He is predeceased by his father, Frederick J. Joesten.

Funeral services held Saturday February 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 11:00 AM until the time services at 1:00 PM. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
