Frances Marie (Crone) Rehfeldt, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, with her husband and daughter by her side. She was born on June 23, 1940 to Harry and Florence (Johnson) Crone. She was a 1958 graduate of Rockford East High School. On May 16, 1959, she married Robert Rehfeldt at Zion Lutheran Church, Rockford, IL. Fran worked as bookkeeper for many years at various companies in Rockford including Zion Development Corporation and Trinity Learning Center. She also volunteered at the Cornucopia Food Pantry.

Fran was an avid bowler winning many trophies throughout the years. She also had a passion for ceramics and China painting and blessed many of her friends and family with her creations.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin. She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Robert; daughter Kim; granddaughters, Cortney and Makenzie; brother John (Linda) Crone; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 N. 1st St., Rockford, IL. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery at 12:30 p.m., all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Learning Center, Cornucopia Food Pantry or Trinity Lutheran Church, all donations can be sent in c/o Trinity Lutheran Church.
