CAROLYN'S OBITUARY
ROCKFORD – Carolyn Lee Davis, age 67, of Rockford passed away peacefully Tuesday June 22, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born on October 13, 1953 in Paducah, KY the daughter of Benjamin & Shirley Pugh (Kallstrom). A 1971 graduate of East High School, Carolyn was most recently employed by Allied Universal and formerly employed by Wal-Mart, Septran Inc. and Alorica. Loving mother of two children, Carolyn loved spending time with her children and beloved puppy, Teddy. She had a love of country music and in her younger years loved going dancing. She enjoyed watching her favorite sitcoms and was always perfectly content completing a word search or Sudoku puzzle. Beloved mother and dear friend, she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her sons, Benjamin L. Davis and Matthew A. (Mercedes Boykin) Davis. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Roger Davis; parents; and grandparents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Thursday July 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 925 5th Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment of Cremains at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
