Obituary

Patricia G. Campbell, 93, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Born September 8, 1928, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Basil J. and Clara G. (Collyear) Strouse. Patricia married Robert C. Campbell on May 15, 1983 in Rockford. He predeceased her on August 24, 1986. She worked in housekeeping for Quality Care. Patricia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Loves Park.

Survived by her daughters, Nora J. Bennett and Jayne (Jerry) Workinger; grandchildren, John and Clifford Bennett and Jessica Meckler; and brothers, Clinton and Clyde Strouse. Also predeceased by her parents; sons, Clifford, John, Ronald, and James Meckler; sister, Helen Chaplin; step-brothers, Lyle and Lynn Stouse; and son-in-law, Kenneth Bennett.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. To share a memory or condolence, visit olsonfh.com.
