Robert H. (Rob) Mitchell, Jr. 1965 —2021
Robert H. (Rob) Mitchell, Jr. 55, of Rockford passed away in his home on March 1, 2021. Born August 31, 1965 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; son of Robert H. and Janet Mitchell. Rob graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1989. He married Rachael Stollings on January 8, 2000 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rob worked in landscaping and was always helping family and friends keep their yards beautiful. He was a very hard worker.
Rob is survived by his children, Hailey and Austin Mitchell, sisters Kathy (Al Tighe) Englin, Mary (Kerry) Peters, Julie (Herb) Phelps and brother David (Crystal) Mitchell, stepmother Linda Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by daughter Kylie Mitchell and his parents. There will be a private family service at a later date.
